June 2013....
China National Petroleum (CNPCC) have placed a contract with DLT for the supply of a 5,000 tonne lifting capacity jacking tower system, for use in the erection of heavy petrochemical vessels. The MYQ5000 jacking tower system will be able to self-erect and self-dismantle, and will also be able to move with the vessel after lifting. The tower system will be delivered in early 2014. More>

Swiber Offshore successfully installed two platforms in the Arabian Sea using a DLT supplied float over jacking system. More>

June 2012....
Forth Crossing Bridge Constructors in the UK have awarded two construction engineering contracts to DLT. The first is for engineering the launch of a 232m long side span section. The second is for six deck erection gantries to erect the 109 No cable stayed deck segments weighing up to 729 tonnes each.

April 2012....
Saipem have placed an order with DLT for design and supply of a 1000 tonne capacity x 1.5m stroke hydraulic ram and control system for use on their pipe laying vessel the Caster One. The ram will be used to calibrate the pulling force readings of the pile laying winches.

March 2012....
Protende in Brazil have placed an order for 50 No 98 tonne capacity strand jacks, with hydraulic power packs and computer control system, initially for the installation of the cable net roof of the Brazilia football stadium which will be used for the 2014 World Cup.

Nov 2011....
Victor Buyck (Malaysia) have awarded the contract to DLT to design and supply a synchronised jacking system to open and close two 270 tonne 'angel' wings on the roof of the Calvary Church Convection Centre in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Sept 2011....
Nippon Steel have awarded the contract to DLT to design and supply a 2 x 1,000 tonne capacity push/pull jacking system to be fitted to their jacket installation barge will be launched in 2012. The skidding system comprises 2 No DL-GP1000 gripper jack units with power packs and central control system and will be used for both load out of the jackets and final installation at sea. More>

Sarens in Belgium have placed the first order for our new DL-TLG100 hydraulic gantry system for delivery in early 2012. More>

Lift & Shift India have placed the first order for our 540 tonne capacity modular generator installation system, designed by DLT to target the large volume of power station construction work in India. More>

Victor Buyck (Malaysia) use 4 No DL-S185 strand jacks to lift into place 2 No 200 tonne 60m long roof support trusses to a height of 30m on the Calvary Convention centre project in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. More>

Swiber Offshore Construction award the contract to DLT to design and supply two float over jacking systems, initially to install two platforms weighing up to 12,000 tonnes in the ONGC B-193 process complex in the Arabian Sea. Installation of the two platforms is currently scheduled for 2012. More>

Samsung erect the first 1000 tonne concrete deck beam on the Honam High Speed rail project using our DL-S1000/35 span erector. More>

Gammon India take delivery of three sets of 4 x DL-S108 strand jacks for erection of heavy chimney flue liners on various power stations throughout India and carry out their first lifting operations under the supervision of DLT site staff.

BHEL Western division in India complete the first 5 boiler drum lifts using the 2 x DL-S185 strand jacks system we supplied to them in December 2010. The first two lifts were carried out with the assistance of a DLT site supervisor, the remaining three lifts were carried out by themselves. DLT are category winners in the UK Construction News Specialist Awards, held on the 22nd March in London. We were winners in the Project Excellence : Public Sector category for our work on the A34 Wolvercote bridge deck slide. More>

Edimo Metallo S.p.A in Italy complete the launch of the 1000 tonne Ponte Verde steel arch bridge in Padua, Italy, using DLT strand jacks and site supervision. More>

January 2011....
Sarens complete the lift of 3 No petrochemical vessels in India using our DL-TS3000 modular jacking system. The vessels weighed up to 1350 tonnes and were up to 120m high. More>

December 2010....
BHEL in India take delivery of their first 370 tonne capacity strand jack system for erection of boiler drums on the many power station projects they have coming up over the next few years. Their first lift was successfully completed in December 2010 (and a second completed in January 2011) and several further lifts are scheduled for the coming months. DLT were on site to advise on the use the jacks and to train BHEL staff to operate and maintain the system. More>

95% of the deck of the Rio Negro bridge has been erected in Brazil. More>

September 2010....
First sea trials of a floating crane boom lowering system using 2 No DL-S294 strand jacks successfully completed for client Fuji Yorigami in the waters off Osaka.

September 2010....
The first precast shell of the new Olmstead Dam was successfully placed on the Ohio river bed, weighing just under 3,000 tonnes. The shell was handled on land and on the water using DLT strand jacks. More>

First precast concrete deck sections lifted on the Rio Negro bridge in Brazil using DLT supplied gantries. More>

April 2010....
We are awarded the contract to design a 1000 tonne capacity gantry crane for Samsung C&T to erect 35m long precast concrete deck girders for the Honam HIgh Speed Rail, section 4-1. The gantries will be in operation from February 2011.

March 2010....
DLT complete the sideways side skid of the 4920 tonne x 254m long replacement bridge deck for the A34 Wolvercote Viaduct Replacement project in the UK using our DL-SU350 skidding system. More>>

DLT are awarded one of the biggest contracts ever for supply of strand jacks for the Olmsted locks and dam project in Illinois, USA. DLT will be supplying two separate computer controlled strand jack systems, each having 12 No 1022 metric tonne capacity strand jacks. The systems will be delivered in 2010 and will carry out heavy lifting of precast concrete shells over several years. Completion of the project, for client the US Army Corps of Engineers, is scheduled for 2014. More>>
